SAWAYAMA - Rina Sawayama album review

Debut album from Japanese/British artist Rina Sawayama is a mix of pop and rock and it’s very good. All the songs I actively dislike come at once and other than that streak of songs the album does not miss. The production on this sounds great and Rina (usually) does a good job over it. The main highlight of the album for me is Who’s Gonna Save U Now, where she’s at her absolute best vocally and the rock production compliments her well. Overall I’m gonna give this album a solid 8/10, with only a couple bad tracks and a bunch of good tracks. 

Favorite tracks: Who’s Gonna Save U Now, XS, Bad Friend, Fuck This World (Interlude), STFU! 

Least favorites: Akasaka Sad, Comme Des Garçons (Like The Boys), Paradisin’
