Punisher - Phoebe Bridgers album review

3rd project from folk pop artist Phoebe Bridgers combines a lot of sounds you would hear in normal indie/folk pop and I am not a huge fan. A lot of this project sounds samey and the only real standout tracks are when she switches up the sound a bit like on Kyoto or I Know The End. Punisher, Halloween, Graceland Too, Chinese Satellite and Moon Song all sound way too similar for my taste and it’s hard telling them apart on a mild listen. When I went from Punisher to Halloween on my first listen I couldn’t even tell the track changed. Overall I’ll give this a 6.5/10 as it’s a decent album but it could definitely be better if she switched up the sound more.

Least Favorite: Garden Song
