Positions - Ariana Grande album review

6th studio album from pop superstar Ariana Grande “Positions” dives into a lot more sexual content and I just wish it was more interesting to listen to. The album is very one note and repetitive where Ari is either reusing sounds she’s used before or overusing newer sounds. Most of the album has either generic trap production (Positions, 34+35) or more vibey r&b production (West Side, Safety Net, POV). Shut Up has a nice strings instrumental but Ari doesn’t really do much over it. Overall this album is decent but it definitely could’ve been better.
